About Sagrais Farmhouse
We can now offer Sagrais farmhouse all year round.
Sagrais farmhouse gite has been sympathetically restored – with many of the features of oak beams and granite fireplace. It has large rooms throughout and all modern facilities. Set amongst lovely dairy farmland in this pretty valley of la Selune. The gite also has a lovely garden to the back of the house. Lawned area, apple trees and a super heated swimming pool. The garden area covers 60 m X 30 m, so there is plenty of space to sit quietly and look out into open countryside, or survey the children in the pool from the raised terrace close to the kitchen.
The farmhouse Accommodation
Sagrais is a lovely country house with all modern facilities, spacious and light, looking out to the front gardens, with ample parking and to the back gardens with terrace and enclosed swimming pool 9.11m X 4.66m, 120/130cm deep, all one level - fenced to european regulations.
Charming but modern kitchen featuring high ceiling and beams. The fully fitted kitchen includes a bar with integral family size fridge for those cold beers and holiday glasses of wine. Dishwasher and all modern facilities including granite work surfaces. Kitchen door leads to the terrace and swimming pool.
Beautiful stone, granite fireplace and oak beams in the two lounges on the ground floor. Here you can sit in a cool room during the summer in front of the Blue Godin poelle housed in the spectacular granite fireplace, or, watch TV/or play a DVD. In the lounge there is a beige leather 3 p. suite. The salon boasts a spectacular granite fireplace from before the French revolution with dining for 12. (The utility room with freezer, downstairs toilet can be accessed from the salle a manger and leads out onto the terrace.) There is a dressing room with washing machine situated on the first floor near the double bedroom suite and petit salon.
Bedrooms
The farmhouse doors have been hand made from oak trees which grew at Sagrais in years gone by. The stairs boast a hand made oak banister and lead to the landing with childproof oak solid gate. Bathroom and big bedrooms featuring oak beams and carefully restored stone walls in each room. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs plus a shower room, one double with en-suite bathroom, TV with Sky sat.(may change location for 2009 to ground level). Petit salon with godin fireplace on the first floor. Separate toilet and hand basin can serve en-suite double bedroom equally the biggest bedroom reached to from the wood stair case leading to the 4 singles this bedroom has a feature raised ceiling with original oak beams. All bathrooms are modern and spacious, the family bathroom is often thought of as a ‘wet room’ tiled throughout, white suite with walk in shower, large size bath, toilet and bidet complimented with oak cupboards.
